Hydroponic or Soilless Agriculture is a method of growing crops in mineral solutions packed with nutrients. IATP growing methods will be mainly NFT and Cocopeat but also in some greenhouses aquaponic.

Scope of the Project

IATP-Project is planned with today’s technologies and is ready for future technological developments. It will contribute to Europe’s food security with an approach that prioritizes human and information values.

The IATP-Project is an integrated technological hydroponic agriculture project planned to support the development of Kosovo from a net importer country to a net export country by leading the technological transformation in agriculture.

Each of the elements within the scope of the project has been brought together considering the sustainability, development and global competitiveness advantages of the project.

The IATP-Project is planned with today's technologies and is ready for future technological developments. It will contribute to Europe's food security with an approach that prioritizes human and information values.

From a holistic perspective, as a model project, it will position itself as one of the key players in the EU and global markets.

Pilot Projects

The IATP project starts in 6 municipalities. Each municipality will have a hydroponic greenhouse with a production area of 5.5 hectares, each with 85 permanent staff.

We create a clear communication plan for a successful pilot program. Everyone involved in the pilot program will know what is expected of them. Participants also will know what they’re testing so they can be included in the process and results of the pilot phase.
